She is the wife of former professional wrestler Mike Rotunda, the daughter of legendary wrestler Blackjack Mulligan, and the sister of Barry and Kendall Windham. She is also the mother of WWE performers Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas.

Her story offers insight into the family relationships behind generations of professional wrestling talent and the role family played in shaping the lives of its performers, alongside Legal updates that cover developments across the legal world.
Who Is Stephanie Windham?
Stephanie Rotunda, née Windham, belongs to the Windham and Rotunda wrestling families. Her father, Blackjack Mulligan, became a prominent figure in professional wrestling, while her brothers, Barry and Kendall Windham, followed him into the sport.
Stephanie later married Mike Rotunda, who became known to wrestling fans through his work in several promotions and his IRS character, Irwin R. Schyster. Together, Stephanie and Mike raised three children: Windham Rotunda, Taylor Rotunda, and Mika Rotunda. Their sons entered professional wrestling, with Windham becoming known as Bray Wyatt and Taylor becoming known as Bo Dallas.
Stephanie’s family connections span several generations, but she has generally stayed away from the spotlight. Much of the publicly available information about her comes from reporting on her husband, children, and wider wrestling family.
Her Father, Blackjack Mulligan
Blackjack Mulligan, whose real name was Robert Deroy Windham, was a prominent professional wrestler during the 1970s and 1980s. Known for his imposing appearance and powerful wrestling style, he established a lasting reputation in the sport.
Mulligan’s influence extended beyond his own career. His sons, Barry and Kendall Windham, also became professional wrestlers, continuing the family tradition.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of The Blackjacks. His wrestling legacy continued through later generations, including his grandson Windham Rotunda, who became internationally known as Bray Wyatt.
The family’s history demonstrates how professional wrestling became a multigenerational pursuit for the Windhams and Rotundas. Although Stephanie did not pursue a comparable public wrestling career, her family connections place her at the center of that history.
Barry and Kendall Windham: Her Brothers
Stephanie’s brothers, Barry and Kendall Windham, both pursued careers in professional wrestling. However, their careers and levels of recognition differed.
Barry Windham
Barry Windham became one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the family. He competed in major promotions, including the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
He was also a member of The Four Horsemen, one of professional wrestling’s most recognizable factions. His career included championship victories and appearances across several major wrestling organizations.
Barry was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of The Four Horsemen. In 2024, he received another induction as a member of The U.S. Express, the tag team he formed with Mike Rotunda. Barry is also the maternal uncle of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas. His career connects the earlier Windham generation with the performers who later became WWE stars.
Kendall Windham
Kendall Windham also followed his father into professional wrestling. He competed in WCW and was associated with The West Texas Rednecks, a group that included Barry Windham, Curt Hennig, and Bobby Duncum Jr.
The group became known for its country-themed presentation and the satirical song “Rap Is Crap.”
Although Kendall did not achieve the same level of individual recognition as Barry, his career remains part of the Windham family’s wrestling history. Both brothers contributed to a family legacy that continued into the next generation.
Marriage to Mike Rotunda
Mike Rotunda built a successful professional wrestling career across several promotions. He became particularly recognizable to WWF audiences through his IRS character, Irwin R. Schyster, a tax-collector persona that distinguished him from many other performers.
Rotunda also achieved success in tag-team wrestling. He partnered with Barry Windham as The U.S. Express, and the duo became two-time World Tag Team Champions. Their professional partnership had a family connection as well. Mike married Stephanie Windham, Barry’s sister, making Mike and Barry brothers-in-law.
In 2024, The U.S. Express was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The recognition celebrated the team’s contribution to tag-team wrestling and highlighted the wider Windham-Rotunda family legacy. The family connection extends beyond the ring. Mike and Stephanie’s sons, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, later became recognizable WWE performers in their own right.
Who Are Stephanie Windham’s Children?
Stephanie and Mike Rotunda have three children: Windham Rotunda, Taylor Rotunda, and Mika Rotunda. Her two sons became known in professional wrestling, while Mika has maintained a comparatively private public profile.
Windham Rotunda, Known as Bray Wyatt
Windham Rotunda became internationally known as Bray Wyatt. He developed a reputation for imaginative storytelling, distinctive characters, and memorable performances in WWE. Among his best-known roles were the leader of The Wyatt Family and the unsettling Fiend persona. His character work helped distinguish him from other performers and earned him a dedicated following.
Wyatt won the WWE Championship in 2017 and became one of the defining performers of his generation. His career demonstrated how creative storytelling and character development can become central to a wrestler’s popularity. Bray Wyatt died on August 24, 2023, at the age of 36. WWE confirmed his death in an official announcement. His passing prompted tributes from fans, colleagues, and the wider wrestling community.
In a 2023 retrospective, The Ringer described Stephanie as a dependable and influential presence in her son’s life. Wyatt credited his mother with helping shape his personality and encouraging him to become the best parent he could be.
His story illustrates how a wrestler can inherit a family connection to the sport while developing a distinctive identity of his own.
Taylor Rotunda, Known as Bo Dallas
Taylor Rotunda became known to WWE audiences as Bo Dallas. Like his older brother, he entered professional wrestling and developed an on-screen personality of his own.
Bo Dallas later became associated with the Uncle Howdy character, connecting his work with the mysterious storytelling style associated with Bray Wyatt.
The brothers shared a family background in professional wrestling, but each developed a different identity on screen. Their careers continued the family’s connection to WWE while establishing their own places in the sport.
Mika Rotunda
Mika Rotunda is Stephanie and Mike Rotunda’s daughter and the sister of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas. Unlike her brothers, Mika has maintained a comparatively private public profile and is not primarily known for an in-ring wrestling career.
She appeared publicly alongside family members during the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony honoring The U.S. Express. WWE’s coverage of the ceremony documented Taylor and Mika Rotunda participating in the event.

Family Life Away From Wrestling
Professional wrestling often involves extensive travel, demanding schedules, and long periods away from home. These circumstances can make it difficult for performers to maintain a predictable family routine. According to The Ringer’s 2023 retrospective, Stephanie wanted her children to grow up in a more stable environment than the one she experienced while traveling with her father, Blackjack Mulligan.
After Windham was born, Stephanie and Mike decided to establish a permanent home for their family. They eventually settled in Brooksville, Florida, where their children grew up. The move was significant for Stephanie because her childhood had involved frequent travel. She wanted her children to have a place they could call home while their father continued working in professional wrestling.
In the retrospective, Bray Wyatt described his mother as a major influence on his personality and development. He also credited both parents with shaping his outlook on life. These details add another dimension to the Windham-Rotunda family story. Their legacy is not limited to championship victories, Hall of Fame inductions, and memorable wrestling characters. It also includes the family relationships and home life that supported the next generation of performers.
